So, when I left the house this morning it was a cold, damp day and was forecast to stay that way. But by midday, the sun was shining and it’s actually quite hot. Rupert’s little outfit is perfect for days like today. Summer staples that can be layered up or stripped off! Shop the look below Continue reading
The practical things…
Now, these are the sensible things that are really not stylish in any way, but are essential for safety and for making life easier on your well deserved holidays. I sound so mumsy and so boring now don’t I? I’m not I promise 🙂
I always hated those uv rash vests, I still do. Continue reading
How cute is this little ensemble?!
You’re thinking its a Petit Bateau £45-er right? Nope, it’s £17.99 from HM!
I was dubious about the quality but I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived today that i thought it deserved a little mention on here.
Made from really soft, light knitted organic cotton. It’s quite big so I’d be tempted to size down. (Obviously I’m keeping this size to stash away and will get the size down to wear now. And Yes my husband does hate me, thankfully he doesn’t read my posts!!)
Anyway, if you have a little boy (or girl) get it. It’s gorgeous for tiny babies and also for toddlers too as the 12-18 month I just bought is big enough for an average two year old!
I really love a pair of mini dungarees.
Dungarees are my all time favourite go-to outfit for little boys. But I also like them on girls. They’re super practical and stylish and I think it’s a look that older girls can totally pull off too. I know many of you struggle with clothes for your girls from age 9 yrs +.. They’re not teenagers but they’re not little kids anymore. Dungarees might just be the perfect solution.
Now, I know you’re probably looking out of the window thinking, “is she mad? A summer dress?!” But trust me. Summer will be here before you know it.
Suddenly your kids’ winter wardrobes will be redundant and you’ll have weeks of uniform-less summer holidays ahead of you. You will excitedly rush out to buy them some lovely summery things. Except there won’t be any left.. You may be lucky enough to spot the fab romper you’ve been looking at for months, but it’ll be in the wrong colour and/ or size. So i’m telling you, buy now or regret later. You really will! Continue reading
Just came across this little gem from Next and had to share.
It looks like it’s from a cool Scandi brand rather than the high street and is so wearable. I’ve ordered for both of my girls and I’m tempted to buy for next year too. It goes from 3 months- 6 years. Remember I normally size down with Next. Continue reading
